Important, but unheard news stories |
|
Project Censored publishes a list of “censored” news stories each year. I agree that a few of these stories are important, and did not get enough media attention. So I’m linking them here. Stories I found profound in that I hadn’t heard them were: #2 Halliburton Charged with Selling Nuclear Technologies to Iran #4 Hunger and Homelessness Increasing in the US #11 Dangers of Genetically Modified Food Confirmed #13 New Evidence Establishes Dangers of Roundup #14 Homeland Security Contracts KBR to Build Detention Centers in the US #18 Physicist Challenges Official 9-11 Story If you have the time, give them a read. I think all of them are important in their own right. However, an observation about all these “censored” stories is that many of them highlight the neo-conservative agenda of acquiring wealth and power. Weather these stories are true or not, it’s hard to miss that the list was put together by the American left. Seems that a more balanced list would have gotten more diggs |

Lots of paranoia in these stories. Until 20 years or so ago, political paranoia in US politics was largely a right wing phenomenon. Now almost all of it is on the left fringe. Country has been rich in it for, oh, about 200 years. I’ll be scared (paranoid, I guess) when it goes away.

Yeah, but, WHAT IF THEY’RE TRUE!? I think someone is watching me, can’t write any more now.
