Reshandra, I have been working in the Carollton / Canal area for the last three weeks removing debris. We initially set up our campers (we?re staying there)near Michoud (by the NASA Facility). I?d estimate the damage in that area to be around 85 - 90% lost. The military is strictly enforcing a curfew in that area, but I have a contractor I.D. that allows me into the damaged areas. I will be returning to New Orleans on Jan 2nd and will be moving our work camp from Gretna back to the Michoud area (we are going to be reassigned to the Lower 9th). I don?t have any way to update anyone while there, but I should be back in Baton Rouge around mid January. I?ll try to get some digital pics and upload them if possible. If anyone wants me to, I can try to get specific photos of specific areas or addresses for you. In the 3 weeks prior to Christmas, I saw very few residents there. If anyone would like me to try to get some photos for them, please email me with the address and your contact info. I am not from New Orleans and I?m not very familiar with the area, so I really can?t answer many questions. But,I have a GPS in my work truck, so I should be able to find almost any address. My email address is geordieboy@hotmail.com
