I found this post on marriage and specifically the gay marriage controversy interesting. His argument isn?t for or against gay marriage, but points out how silly it is to have a state defined status and regulation on personal relationships. What exactly is the point? If you step back from the age old convention, it looks a bit Orwellian doesn?t it.
