The photo of the rose is wonderful. You captured its essence. I had no idea that a digital camera could handle that kind of indirect lighting so well in a close up, tricky with even the best of SLR film cameras. I’m guessing it’s a hybrid tea rose, possibly “Mr. Chips” (in case anyone asks).
