Pushkar is a small town which is known for it’s holy lake. It’s a hindu pilgrimage site in addition to being a bit of a tourist trap. So there were a lot of touts there. However, it was generally a really calm and relaxing place. Because of the deep spiritual roots, there was a definite feeling of tranquility, which is probably the draw for the large hippie community. I hiked up to the Brahma temple with Daniel, a German guy I met there. There were lots of monkeys at the top, but I wasn’t clear on why. Enjoy the photos.
